Toro Recycler SR4 self propelled lawn mower cutting blade not engaging

Hello All,

I have a Toro recycler SR4 self propelled walk behind lawn mower that runs and moves under its own power but the cutting

blade will not engage. I cannot find the manual here on red square. Are there any common problem areas to trouble shoot

on this machine?

Have a model number and serial number?

I found two service manuals on toro.com

• The model is 20058 and serial number is 260003770 which was made in 2006.

Hello Gary,

Thank you for the information on the manual. I took apart the inspection covers and blew out the dirt, the transmission belt and blade belt are in poor condition. I will pick up some at the dealer tomorrow.
