Jerry77 1,218 #1 Posted July 16, 2016 Ok. I got a perfectly good bezel from tcrandall for my 516.....the sheet metal is perfectly straight - no wrinkles etc.. the bezel is straight - both tabs intact..how do you get it in there without breaking it???? I heated the bezel with a drop light and got it warm so it would bend easier - no luck - I won't go any further without advise - don't want to break it....I'm starting to think I''m not smart enough to even operate this tractor..grrrrrrrrrr..adivse? Racinbob 11,947 #2 Posted July 16, 2016 Odd. They should just pop right in with no heating needed.

Jerry77 1,218 #5 Posted July 16, 2016 Yeah, it is the right one....must not be holding my mouth right....( all those old swabbies out there are probably thinking the dumb Marine is trying to put it in upside down..lol) it is pretty stubborn but I will eventually get it - just need a bigger hammer I guess..thanks to all for your input. cleat 7,260 #6 Posted July 16, 2016 I heat mine as well, just in the sun on a warm day or with a hair dryer. Heat gun will melt it. Like chev0545 said, hook in the bottom first then just pop in the top.
