sorekiwi 761 #1 Posted December 21, 2008 The clutch spring on my RJ broke yesterday, and I need someone to tell me where it attaches to the operating arm. I never paid too much attention before, I assumed the arm would have a hole for the spring like every other tractor I have has, but lo and behold, no hole! Looking at the pieces I think my old spring was just hooked around the rod that goes to the pedal, but it really doesnt look right.. Can anyone enlighten me? BPjunk 184 #3 Posted December 21, 2008 Mike, Part number 3582 is what your looking for, it is a spring anchor plate that bolts to the left side plate of the Uni-Drive. I've actually been staring at pictures of your rear-end (!! ), but cant see where it hooks up. I just snapped some pics of mine for you (after freezin my azz off) going out in my garage and looks like the owner befor me used a nail Damn guy was :imstupid: anyways here are the pics. Its been put in from the front end of the tractor (The eye facing forward). From the looks of it, mine was hooked around the rod where it makes the 90 degree bend. But if I had lost it out in the yard, I'd bet you a dollar that I'd find it next time I drive across the grass - it'd be right there stuck in my tire. :hide: Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
