daveoman1966 3,839 #2 Posted July 3, 2016 Contact your local FASTENAL outlet. They use their trucks to transport 'extra cargo' when having room in a truck to do so. About 3 months ago, I send a Wheelhorse tractor from my zip in n/w PA to the upper Northwest corner or Washington State. I had to strap it to a pallet for their forklift and take it to the Fastenal outlet. The charge to me was $250 total. Make a phone call to this website, and go from there. https://www.fastenal.com/products

Fun Engineer 859 #4 Posted July 3, 2016 (edited) I've shipped a push mower and a tractor frame with good results. Strap it to the pallet and protect as much as possible. Go to their website and request a quote. youll need approx weight and dimensions and your local store address and number. Stevebo just had his 420 LSE shipped from Michigan to Connecticut through Fastenal. Edited July 3, 2016 by Fun Engineer

T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,599 #6 Posted July 3, 2016 I was also going to suggest Fastenal. I haven't used them myself, but I know several people who has, all with good results. My other suggestion would have been Jerrod from Shipping Wars.
KC9KAS 4,744 #7 Posted July 3, 2016 I have used Fastenal several times with very good results. I had a 4 wheel wagon shipped from Florida to Indiana...$150
prondzy 3,889 #8 Posted July 3, 2016 I think with fastenal, if you crate it up they say there is no damage?? If it is in a pallet only it could be damaged, read the fine print
stevasaurus 23,274 #9 Posted July 3, 2016 I have had good luck with Fastenal. I have shipped a couple of transmissions...1 from Illinois to Buffalo, NY for $60. I could not drive there for that...much less drive back.
AMC RULES 37,195 #10 Posted July 4, 2016 Sometimes Fastenal prices are good... other times, not so much. Last time I tried using them, I was quoted $250... to have a set of cultivators shipped 1hr down the road.

Thanks for the info guys Since ce it is going to be leaving CT then shipping is always 5x more so maybe you better pass on that "rare" CT tractor. We like those to stay in CT... Lol As fun engineer said I had a 420 with deck ship from Michigan to Fishkill NY for 175 through fastenal.

Also have gotten some crazy quotes, back in Oct. got a quot to ship a four speed tranny from young Jake in Michigan to Northwest Florida,$150.00 , Jake shipped FedEx around 60 bucks. Also check with you local store some of them don't have a clue kind of like most places now day. Good luck, Chris.
