Thread size of points cover screws

I am adding a set of points to engine which previously did not have them. 

 

Anyone know the screw size to attach the points and the cover. Apparently they are same.

Should be 10-24 x 3/8

I'll grab a few of each tomorrow morning from the hardware store.

You may like the fillister head screws that take an Allen wrench but often hard to find for this application. They don't get dropped so often.

Amen to that!! I've got to where I hate those dang straight blade screws. When possible I change them out with socket head or second choice is go to philips head.

Tough to get the slotted head ones out with a Nelson muffler on a K241/301/321.
