raider 10 eight speed

a guy i kno has a raider 10 and is asking 100 bucks wiothout motor but has a great body!.....good deal??.....and what motor supposed to be in it? :hide:

Really hard to say if it's worth it or not, but if you think it is, go for it, I've paid that for one's in ruff shape because I wanted it or parts of it, as for what engine? they came with both Kohlers a tecumshe's (spelling) post the model no's from the tag on the dash tower, we can tell you the year and engine.

If you really want it and it's all there except the motor I guess it's worth it. My Raider 10 is a 1972 with a 10 h.p. Kohler. Good luck with your decision. :hide:

according to tractor data.com the RAIDER 10 came with a kohler 10 horse, the CHARGER 10 came with the kohler OR tecumseh 10 horse :hide:

'69. '70. & '71 Raider 10's had HH-100 Tecumseh engines and the 1972 & up had K-241 Kohlers. (yes, there are Raiders newer than 1972.)

I have had 3 Tecumseh-powered Raider 10's so far and have yet to pay more than $150 for a running/operating machine.
