Thegearhead0324 1,353 #1 Posted June 23, 2016 Hi everyone. So I'm an addict with this 1257. Went from the horse to travelling for a plow to putting on a stack. Now I just bought today a snowblower attachment. It was literally located 10 minutes away from where I live on Craigslist. Guy wanted 100 he took 75. It's in good shape. The problem I have... how the heck does this attach? I took a chance on buying it because it was in such good condition. I'll post a pic in a bit. My tractor is a 67 1257. The model number on the snowblower attachment is 0637sk01. I think it's missing a few things what do you think I should do?
Thegearhead0324 1,353 #2 Posted June 23, 2016 I know it might not be a direct fit but what I'm asking is what model wheel horse is that model number snow blower made for? And how can it adapt to mine? That's what I meant to ask lol. Thank you in advance.
prondzy 3,889 #3 Posted June 23, 2016 Not sure if it is adaptable, although any thing is with modifications. You have a blower that fits a 200 series vertical shaft tractor. I.e. 211, 252... the pulley in the middle of the blower should be on the right , and that one bolts to the frame
Thegearhead0324 1,353 #4 Posted June 23, 2016 Ah... that makes sense why I see pulleys on the side on other pictures and not the one I bought. I didn't pay attention when I looked at it. But... there are holes above the center pulley on the blower that looks like a pulley assembly would fit in. Would that be an option? I'm good with modifications. Even If I gotta mess with the chain and cut a hole larger where the chain and sprocket is to raise that section ? I dunno... good thing the plow blade was a direct fit lol. Got a project ahead of me with this one.
roadapples 6,983 #5 Posted June 24, 2016 You shouldn`t have a problem getting $75 for it. I`d try to find the correct one, unless you like the challenge....
Thegearhead0324 1,353 #6 Posted June 24, 2016 Welp.... I'll prolly end up selling it. I didn't need a snowblower attachment since I already have the 54" dozer blade. It woulda just been cool to have a blower attachment as well. I guess I'll be on the search for the correct one.
