Racinbob 11,983 #4 Posted June 21, 2016 (edited) It's kind of an odd setup Jim. The belt tension is set by a knob pulling the plate that the generator is on down to another plate. The snow blower flag/bar gizmo just holds things in place. It's hard to explain. Take a look at a manual and you'll see what I mean. I'm picking up a 5KW at the show and I can show you. I had an identical unit when we lived in Indiana. It's missing the flag but I have one lined up for me while I'm there. WHX?? 51,873 #6 Posted June 21, 2016 The one hole at the top of the flag Moe goes in a stud on the rock shaft arm with a clip pin & a washer to hold it on, one other is for the lift assist spring that goes back to the cross bar so you shoud be using two holes. Not sure but some of the blowers may not use the list assist spring. I see Bob ....my genny just sits on a bracket that goes into the front attach mount and just hangs there, belt tension by the slots in the bracket. Racinbob 11,983 #7 Posted June 21, 2016 I kinda missed a step. The idea is that when mounting it to the tractor you lift the bar in the center attach-a-matic with the lift lowered. Then raise the lift and it pushes the front into that mount. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
