Thisguyisnew 114 #1 Posted June 20, 2016 Does anyone know where I can find the original carb jet for a 16hp C-160? All the rebuild kits that say they are for a 16hp come with one that does not match the only one I got. And I have two tractors so you see the problem. Thisguyisnew 114 #3 Posted June 20, 2016 Your not kidding Garry. I now just need to locate the numbers on motor or carb? Not sure where they would be, but it will have to wait for the next time I get the chance to work on the tractors. Thanks very much.
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,509 #4 Posted June 20, 2016 If you know the tractor's model number look for it in the Manuals. There should be a D&A page there. The D is the tractor details that includes the original engine model number and specification number. A search for "C-160" should find it also. Use " marks. Thisguyisnew 114 #6 Posted June 21, 2016 (edited) Hey guys, engine model is K341S and spec number looks like 71128A. There are no markings on the carb that I can see. Walbro usually has name on side right? Edited June 21, 2016 by Thisguyisnew wrong letter entered
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,509 #7 Posted June 21, 2016 Here is the 71128 Kohler parts list. https://www.partstree.com/parts/kohler-engines/engines-horizontal/k341-71128-kohler-k341-engine-k-series-wheel-horse-16hp-11-9kw-specs-71105-71384/ The carb page shows a before and after serial number 18xxxxxxxx which is 1988 production. The carb listed for before is 45 053 20-S. When you go down into the carb manual to where the parts lists are page 3.4 and 3.5 each group is on 2 pages so check both. Likely in the printed manual the pages were opposite each other. Notice they call the complete replacement carburetor a carburator kit. Then there is the repair kit. That's what I get from it but that number is no longer available and no superseded number listed. There is a 25 757 02-S. . https://www.partstree.com/parts/kohler-engines/parts/25-757-02-s/ Garry

Thor27 835 #11 Posted June 22, 2016 On the parts tree links pic, I am only seeing the needle and seat and not the main jet. My C-160, K341 spec 71223a uses a carter carb, I used a kit off the big auction site that looks like this. .
