First Snow Pictures of Winter 2008 - 2009

Recommended Posts

MaineDad

Last night we had the second snow storm of the year. First one last week was about 3 inches and last night we got about 8 to 9 inches of snow. Tomorrow is predicted to be a Nor'easter which could dump more than a foot of snow.

Here's the first pictures of the year courtesy of my son;

I wonder if it would shoot like that with heavy snow? This stuff you could brush away with a broom. Is that a single or duel stage? :D :hide:

Great pics, Micah, and I agree with the guys - keep 'em for a future calendar! :hide:

It was supposed to snow 4-8" here last night; I got a foot. Didn't need to hear about 15-20"! :hide: We're farther from the coast so we may not get nailed quite as bad, but the storm that was also supposed to have ended this morning has been snowing on us all day - and still is! Next winter #2 312-8 gets a snow plow blade, come h*ll or high water!

Duff :D

Wow- can any of the moderators plan a field trip for the group? We could descend upon the North with a fleet of horses, and have a ball at the same time!

As much as I want to try out my new 56" on the D200 I can wait. This will be the first year without the 310-8( torn down for full restor ) in a long time, so Im hopeing the D200 does as good of a job. I love to plow my drive and the neighbors but can wait...LOL

Just got done digging out of about 18 inches of snow. Last night around 7pm, I did a quick clearing of about 10 inches. Wind was swirling in all directions at 30 to 40 mph. I was covered and cery cold. Went out at 7am this morning and 3 hours later I'm all done.

The C-160 did a great job and the tall chute thrower handled the snow quite well too. Sorry no pics of the actual removal, I will post some after pics later today.
