dgjks6 8 #1 Posted December 20, 2008 My wife had a christmas party lst night for her "Panera Crew" who she has coffe with every morning. One of the couples live about 1 mile from us. Of course the conversation went to my wife complaining about me always working on a working tractor (now I am restoring my 37 inch side discharge deck). They said they have her father's early 70's 14 or 16hp wheel horse with 5 attachments under a tarp in their back yard for the last 11 years. It has a deck, blade, snow thrower, and a few things they were not sure what they were. I am going to try to go over and take a look at it today. Maybe even take it off their hands for free. Teddy da Bear 11 #5 Posted December 20, 2008 Of course the conversation went to my wife complaining about me always working on a working tractor.Hey.....be happy your wife at least brings up your hobby in conversation. I see a new neighbor just finished building a home near us. And I spy a late 70's wheel horse sitting outside behind the house... He has a three car garage. This must mean he is intending to get rid of it...... I am going over with an apple pie to welcome them to the neighborhood. Break the ice....and maybe the conversation can land on horses!
