875 carb TLC

Recommended Posts

Doing a little work on the Carter Model N

carb this morning.  Got the choke that was stuck open working now freely. Have some new replacement choke/throttle cables for her too .

Might see if I can get the Kohler K181 to fire up today. ;)

Forward progress is a good thing !! :)

While I had the choke/throttle cables removed thought I would clean up the rusty dash panel.  Pretty obvious the 875 wasn't a Garage Queen....:(

Sand blasted at the shop and did a little

Engine turning on it till I pickup dash decal.

Looks great Tig...  :handgestures-thumbsup:

a skim coat of filler on that dash first...has to be smooth before you apply one of these...

One of the next things to pickup is the dash decal along with all the other 875 decals. ;)

One thing I noticed, the guy that had this moved the ignition switch down the area on the dash where the Generator light should be. Think I will move it where it should be.
