Don1977 605 #4 Posted June 11, 2016 I look at the assembly drawings on the Kohler site and didn't see a ball bearing on the PTO side. I would think you need thrust plate. I put a manual PTO on an 18 HP Briggs Vanguard but it has a ball bearing on the PTO side. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
