Teddy da Bear 11 #1 Posted December 19, 2008 I had a guy tell me that it is possible to replace the plastic fender with a metal fender from a 416-8 with almost no modifications. He also said a few guys he knows had already done this. I wanted to ask you here if anyone has heard if this works. Thanks
JimD 3,347 #2 Posted December 19, 2008 teddy, there are metal fender pans that will work, just don't remember which ones. some of the other c-sreies will fit. i hope the guys who know will chime in cause i need one for my c-85. then we'll both know what to look for. jim
refracman 167 #3 Posted December 19, 2008 Teddy For the metal pan to fit you will have to cut both the gas tank filler spout hole and the hydro control hole. Also the top of your foot rest boards ? will be exposed as the 195 seat pan mounts 3 inches higher for the larger gas tank and frame work for the 3pt. Now if you can find a good plastic pan off any Wheel horse of that era tractor all you have to do is cut the holes out and its good to go. been there done that
Teddy da Bear 11 #4 Posted December 20, 2008 Ok..... If any of the plastic seat pans of that era will work with those minor modifications... I will be looking for one.

I been repairing the plasic pan on a 195 and had a C160 metal pan laying around. Well ... ONLY a plastic pan will work because the gas tank. Sorry about that. If you want I'll keep a eye out for ya.
