Clevis hitch on a short frame 857

 Was a clevis hitch designed to be used on a short frame tractor such as a Commando 8 or 857? Thanks.

It will fit. I used a clevis hitch on my 704 for a Brinly box scraper.

 The clevis hitch was not designed originally for the short frame tractors the slot hitch was however they do fit.I've had  quite a few guys that bought my clevis hitch instead of the adapter. 

 Here is a picture of a clevis hitch on a 702 .

The only thing I have found with the clevis hitch and a round hood with a tool box is the arm on the clevis that attaches to the lift cable needs to be bent in order for the lit cable to not rub on the tool box.

Hadn't thought of that. Will have to check it out before I install it.

This is for my trailer princess at the moment but may end up on my C-81/161 or GT1848.
