TIGman 2,006 #1 Posted June 9, 2016 Went down to my friend's tire shop and had the old tires taken off the rims. Able to see the color they started out as. Kinda like a Time Capsule from 1965.
oliver2-44 10,689 #2 Posted June 9, 2016 Speaking of time capsule, look at the rims closely and see if they have some manufacture stamping on them which might include the date they were made.

RedRanger 1,469 #4 Posted June 9, 2016 (edited) That's what mine looked like on the 867. Now take that wheel over to your local paint shop and have them tell us the color. Edited June 9, 2016 by RedRanger

WHX?? 51,703 #6 Posted June 10, 2016 Just for Schimts & Grins I googled EWC rims and found this http://www.farmcollector.com/equipment/electric-wheel-co.aspx?PageId=1 I don't think they were made by the Electric Wheel Co. cause the dates don't jive but interesting none the less. I also found a thread on a sister site where their discussion mentions EWC. http://www.redpowermagazine.com/forums/topic/85003-urgent-wheels-wanted/
squonk 43,736 #7 Posted June 11, 2016 About 6 yrs ago I took a wheel to a Napa store as the inside was pristine. It came out as Allis-Chalmers cream

The shop Superintendent is a big A-C collector and bet he would give me a small sample of A-C cream to try for color match.
