question for C-120 8 speed owners

Is there a safety switch on the parking brake for the 8 speeds?

I have a magnum 12 from a 90 312 hydro that I swapped into a C-175 8 speed that had a blown kt17 along with the wiring harness.  I have the wiring figured out (amazingly), using the NSS for the clutch, pto switch, and seat all set. The hydro also has a brake switch and I don't see any place for it on the 8 speed.

There is no safety switch for the brake on 8 speeds until 1998.  Your vintage C series only has the clutch disengage safety switch.

It should have one on the PTO  and the clutch.
