If I were shopping for another WH, I'd go look at them, and I'm only a few miles from you. I just don't have space for another one. Maybe offer him $200, and see what his reaction is. It looks like it is all there, straight and original...and it looks like it would clean up very nice. I agree that $200 is too low for the 702, but I recommended that when the seller was refusing to give an asking price. A low ball offer would just be to get him to talk dollars. I figure that any offer at all would be less insulting than no offer. It's just a starting point. I really don't like sellers who take the 'best offer' approach to selling, when you take the time to travel to see the tractor, and make them a realistic offer. Then they say that they will wait to see if they get a better offer. It's not an auction. I usually tell them that my offer is only good today, and I can't travel back again later. Agree with Steve...shower muff alone---$$ I doubt if the guy is a member here or he would let it go 350-400 just to get it to another good home. If WHKid can get it for less...that's cool...but that is what the horse is worth. BTW, I don't appreciate this best offer thingy either.
