Ryan1234 0 #1 Posted May 29, 2016 I am trying to replace the mower deck belt on my 42" RD mower (model #78350). According to the manuals, I need to use belt 106125. I have one from Toro, however it appears to be too small. I can't find any documentation nor videos showing how to replace the belt. I removed the spring and slid the middle pulley as far as it would go and I still couldn't get the belt on. What am I missing? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
daveoman1966 3,841 #2 Posted May 29, 2016 here is a pic of a 42" side discharge deck....belt routing is the same. Are you sure you have the center spindle top pulley on correctly. The Small dia of this double-pulley has to be on the bottom. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Ryan1234 0 #4 Posted May 29, 2016 Thank you Dave!! I bought the mower used from my father in law. He still has a wheel horse so he has his own mower deck of the same model.
