Could someone give me a definite answer as to what oil or gear lube that gear box on my 36 inch tiller needs and how much? I have gotten a lot of conflicting answers..

thanks in advance

I use 140W .    Some use 90w, but 140 is thicker and less likely to seep thru seals and leak.  There are no hi-speed gears in the box so 140w otter be fine.

Thank you all for your help. Looks like one quart of 90-140w

my 85-140w should work perfect. Couldn't find 90-140.
