Recommended Posts

Hey Guys-I'm trying to bring a Briggs 10HP back to life for a project- it has points. Model 252707-0145-01----I have a good 1984 Briggs 12Hp- electronic Ignition engine- Can I remove the Module from the 12Hp and use it to covert the 10HP? Thanks for any help- Al

The 10 and 12hp models share the same coil bolt spacing. So, yes, change it out and lose the points. Just cut the point wires, leave the points in and forget about them.
