2Many 14 #1 Posted May 22, 2016 (edited) Going to look at a 312-A for sale today. The guys says he's been running synthetic oil in the engine since he's had it. Is there any downside to this? Is it ok to change it back to regular oil or will I need to keep using synthetic? Seems overkill to use synthetic in a machine your going to change the oil in a couple of times a year. Racinbob 10,370 #2 Posted May 22, 2016 There's no reason you can't switch back and no down side to him using it either. It's a superior oil and I don't think it's overkill at all.
