Indiana_Steve 125 #1 Posted May 15, 2016 Well, was working on my 953 to improve the throttle movement and I broke it. The part that holds the outer cable secure broke (on the lever) and I have no way of holding the cable down. Any ideas on how to repair or does someone have a spare lever assy available
daveoman1966 3,841 #2 Posted May 16, 2016 I have the LEVER assembly shown here (from a 314-8) and another style from the B and C series that are just a little bit different...the mounting tab is not flat like this one, but bent at an angle to match the cash plate. I ahove both available.. my direct email is: daveoman@windstream.net
Indiana_Steve 125 #3 Posted May 16, 2016 Dave that looks real close but the lever action is different, but that is the part of the lever that is broken. I did find one similar on EB which I purchased and hope it will work. If not I will keep you in mind. Many thanks.
