coolhandblack 45 #1 Posted December 16, 2008 Hello everyone, I want to ask a question so that I dont drive 3.5 hrs and get the wrong plow. Could someone post some good pics of what snow blade will fit my tractor. I did look in the snow plow thread, I just want to be sure. I know I need the long frame blade, but gets a little confusing with the older model and new model. Thanks for your help guys.

pond195520032003 27 #3 Posted December 17, 2008 this one would work for you! http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?showtopic=5254 i think you would need a different angle handle though :hide:
Kelly 1,033 #4 Posted December 17, 2008 Don't forget you need a axle bracket to mount it, but they can be shipped alot easier than a plow if you need one.
bowtieguy 334 #5 Posted December 17, 2008 TT...would that be a model BD-426 blade? Coolhand..(Shawn).would that be you in KS? ....I like your "battery carrier" Frank
TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #6 Posted December 17, 2008 TT...would that be a model BD-426 blade? That one is actually a 6-2132 from 1975, Frank. I'm almost positive that the BD-426 (which would have been available when the 1056/1076/1276 long-frames were introduced in 1966) was a full "A" frame and didn't have the parallel section at the rear. coolhandblack 45 #8 Posted December 23, 2008 Just an update... I met with Bowtie guy (Frank) and bought a plow from him. Frank is one hell of a nice guy and absolute pleasure to deal with. So a Big +1 out to Frank! My son and I drove up to Kansas City to meet him... My son and I kinda had us a man day out so that was kinda fun too! So now we are praying for snow!!!
