LFR 39 #1 Posted May 12, 2016 What do they cost as my johndeere ones were 40$ a piece but these look like they should be cheaper, anyone know a estimate of the top of there head?!
Racinbob 11,942 #2 Posted May 12, 2016 Parts Tree has them for under $12.00. A bit of searching and you could probably do better.
rmaynard 16,301 #3 Posted May 12, 2016 Check eBay. You can find them as low as $9.95 for a set of 4. You get what you pay for though. I never pay more than $8.00 each for good ones, and I would never pay $40.00 from a John Deere dealer.
doc724 925 #4 Posted May 12, 2016 Last ones I bought I got from NAPA, they might have been $16 each. I always buy the double sealed ones (sealed both sides) and get rid of the zerk fittings. Makes for a cleaner tractor. The higher quality bearings are made from machined bar stock. The cheapies are drawn cups. As Bob said, you get what you paid for. Try "The Big Bearing Store" on line. Again, if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. As an example, TBBS had deck bearings for under $3. Taking apart a deck spindle is such a PITA that I would rather spend $7 for high quality Japanese bearings rather than do it twice.
