RMCIII 838 #1 Posted May 8, 2016 (edited) Evening Herd: It's been a while since I have had time to "graze" in the pastures here. Been so busy with the opening of the Hilton and now we are also partnering with the Convention Center. Anyone in the Cleveland area looking for a career and you have knowledge in audio/video, I sure could use your help! Anyway, I ran across a very clean(Rob clean) C-161 Automatic with a 42" rear discharge, front blade, chains, extra belts and misc. parts. I am fairly good at knowing what later models are worth, but the later ones I have yet to even come close on the "appropriate" values. Realistically what is something like this worth? JERSEYHAWG / Glenn 4,499 #2 Posted May 8, 2016 Pictures would support a guestimation of value. Hey Rob, been a while. Glenn
RMCIII 838 #3 Posted May 8, 2016 I knew that was coming! I know it would Glenn, I asked for more photos. He has a couple, but it is hard to truly the tell the condition because of the distance and they used an iPhone and have the phone vertical so it looks like you are looking through a key hole. So today he is supposed to be sending me photos of the 161 up close and I also asked for photos of the engine area. RCIII

c-series don 10,037 #5 Posted May 8, 2016 Is it a twin auto with a Briggs? Or single kohler? I prefer the kohler, not that I'm against the Briggs. I have a 18hp twin Briggs with a bazillion hours still going strong, just like the look of the original C-1_1 tractors better. I'm lucky enough to own both C-161s. We, as you know can't get enough pics here at RS so ..........!
