ericjr16 125 #1 Posted May 1, 2016 Hi guys I was going to work last Monday and the town I go through was having trash pick up days soon I guess. Someone actually was throwing what appeared to be a Wheel Horse 312-8 by quick look by!! SHOOT!! I got to work and told the co-worker in charge that day. She said I could go get it with pick up but we had no ramps or anything. The box truck I drive was perfect with 26' box and huge lift gate!! She would not allow me to use! Was hoping to get dad to come down, called him while I left for delivery and was going past it. Planned on looking at it and telling dad if he needed air compressor and some one claimed it. Pushed it away from road. couple hours later when I returned it was gone SHOOT! Thought I would tell you guys this throw away culture we have even someone would throw away a Wheel-Horse. I did get two throw away tractors so far thanks to a friend and us being in right place at right time. ericjr16 125 #3 Posted May 1, 2016 My co-worker is cool and she likes to recycle like us. She does crafts and such, so old tables and such. She was afraid of getting in trouble I bet with box truck. Pollack Pete 2,273 #4 Posted May 1, 2016 Last free one I got that someone was throwing away was a C-120.I drove right by it.The Squaw was with me and due to her eagle eyes yelled out I think that was a Wheel Horse.I turned around at the next cross road.The owner was wrenching on a Harley in his garage .My truck was already full,so I asked if I could have it and if I could push it up next to his garage and I'd come back for it.He said sure.I was back there within an hour and grabbed it.Gotta act fast when you see a free Horse.I love FREE........ 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
