the wheel horse is a 702 ,I was wondering if these numbers confirm the correct motor? and if these numbers are what I need to identify what fuel pump I need ?

Here is a parts list.

The K161S-28622E listed for the 702 does not show a fuel pump. Lists a cover and gasket for the pump location.

The K161S-28626E lists a B-231390-S pump that is no longer available from Kohler.

Will the one on the left work?

The one on the right would work It uses the change in crankcase pressure (pulse) to move the gas.  I am not sure about the left i thought (dangerous) that the small block Kohlers (7-8 hp) had an offset bend in the actuating lever.

Edit:  The one on the left is for 10hp and up.  will not work on your motor.

Let me know if you have any problems getting that pump to work. I may have the parts you need to fix it. I am located not far from you in Westminster, MD.

It's not missing an arm, it never had one. It is a pulse pump and uses crankcase pressure changes to move the diaphragm up and down inside the pump.
