Ed Kennell 41,776 #9 Posted April 21, 2016 The 8 speeds are best for garden plowing and tilling, and OK for mowing. but I really would not be without my HYDROS for blowing and plowing snow.
wrightorchid 261 #10 Posted April 21, 2016 (edited) You can't go wrong with that model. Elec is more complicated, but not too bad. Be sure to get all of the documents, correct for the year, as there were some changes with the engines (newer is the Kohler Magnum) I have a 312-8 and it is a great worker. T_J 11 #11 Posted April 21, 2016 (edited) Would a 1998 314-8 have an hour meter? I asked the seller what the hours, model no, deck width, and year were; got a reply from the seller, but he didn't list the hours. thanks for all the replies I'm guessing that my 1-family owned 1981 B115 has 1700 hours (50hr x 34yrs) Edited April 21, 2016 by T_J
