IMO the 520 HC is my favorite worker for sure. Low center of gravity and a ton of power. Also is a tad bit faster than the other 520s..

I have many models but if I could keep only one it would be my 1989 520-HC. Here is one of my HCs taking a work break.

Yea buddy real nice machine !! My 520H is my favorite toy ! Lol , but as mentioned above keep the Onan clean,, i would take the shrowd off seeing as it is new to you and clean engine off real good , so you dont have to worry about the heat problems,, i did the same on my 520 also,, well worth the time it takes to do it,, and welcome to red square buddy ,, from your neighbor to the south !!

where is hocklyvally ontario , yes i have rebuilt many of the onans over the years, very good engine, $$$$$ to rebuild, in fact i did a 18 and a 20 HP last summer, but you guys do know you're stuff about these engines, back cylinder is always the issue with the heat problem, the deere's also have the same issue, with the heat

good info, appreciate

Curt

where do ya get the headlight bezels for these, anyone ever try to convert the lights to LEDs

:WRS:             There have been a few threads on here about LED headlight conversions, do a search at the top right of the home page and you can read a few.

Hey elcamino noice seeing ya buddy !! Lol "HC" stands for "Hydro Commercial" its made for like landscapers and what not ,, it doesnt habe all the bells and whistles that the H has like stainless air cleaner and muffler cover, stuff like that and goes i think 2 mph faster than the regular H model,,,
