daveoman1966 3,841 #1 Posted April 10, 2016 Need help to identify this Cast pulley. It has numbers 7232 and number 5425 stamped into it, both of which are labeled 'discontinued' on any of my on-line parts sources. The pulley is 4.0" dia and has a 0.75" center WITH keyway slot. There is also a threaded hole for a SHCS to lock down onto the woodruff key, just like a transmission pulley would be. It is for an A width belt. Here are a few pics...this appears to be NOS and it was with a box of pulleys hiding in my shop. I can be contacted in off-site email at this address: daveoman@windstream.net Any help out there?? ? ? ?
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,492 #2 Posted April 10, 2016 7232 transmission driven pulley used on 1967 models 867 and 1067. For some reason in the past I suspected this number should be 7233. It was used with a 6483 engine pulley. 5425 transmission driven pulley used 1965, 1966 and 1967 with 5412, 6483 and 6936 engine pulleys. 5412 engine pulley used on models 1045 and 1055. 6483 engine pulley used on models 1056, 1057,1067,1257 and 1267. 6936 engine pulley used on model 1046. For some reason I have thought this should have been a 7363 pulley. Information in service bulletin 338B is cause for confusion. It lists a 1-1/8" pto PT-6 where one would think it should be 1" pto using PT-7. Using the info available it looks like the early 10hp models used a 1" engine crankshaft. Perhaps this is where they changed to 1-1/8" but this is never noted. Garry
