Ohwheelhorse 121 #1 Posted April 8, 2016 I am new to the red square community and a new owner of a L-156 lawn ranger. I recently got it running and took it out for its first mow. I got a few minutes in and the stearing bound up and I found the linkage came apart and jammed itself into the stearing gear. While working on this I noticed that the two pieces that bolt together seem bent. Before I straighten these I want to make sure it isn't supposed to be like this. Ohwheelhorse 121 #3 Posted April 9, 2016 Thank you slammer. I took everything apart today and straighten both pieces and put it all back together. Along with replacing the pins that hang the deck with the right size ones and put the rear arms on correctly. And everything seems to be better now. Can't really test it today unless I am going to mow snow. But this week I will be able to. I also used a nylock nut and a lock washer to make sure it doesn't come lose again.
