ClassicTractorProfessor 5,371 #1 Posted April 6, 2016 Went to the parts store today to order a starter/generator belt for my 1277 this morning...got to talking to a guy who was there for the free coffee and town gossip (we live in a very small town) and he asked me if I wanted another Wheel Horse. I told him money was tight but if the price was right I might be interested. He told me if free was the right price to come and get it. Not sure what model it is or what kind of condition it is in...will find that out tomorrow when we go pick it up. Funny how these things multiply will be sure and post pics and more info once I get out there

ClassicTractorProfessor 5,371 #15 Posted April 6, 2016 As promised here are the pictures...there is no model number anywhere on this thing and I am new to this hobby...can anyone possibly tell me what this is? It has a single cylinder Wisconsin on it (I'm sure not original as the hood won't fit over it) any info on this old Horse would be appreciated I've got more but that's the only one it will let me upload???
953 nut 60,096 #16 Posted April 6, 2016 Could be a 702 or 752, others will probably chime in.

ClassicTractorProfessor 5,371 #19 Posted April 6, 2016 Could it be that I've got the wrong hood then? Didn't the 701s lack a grille in the hood?

Amcwheel85 2,059 #22 Posted April 6, 2016 Even tho it has the wrong engine I would be pumped to get that for free!! The rest of it don't look bad at all! Good luck

Good luck Oh believe me I am and thanks I may need all the luck I can get...what would be the original engine or something close to report it with the hood will not even come close to clearing the air breather on the Wisconsin
Amcwheel85 2,059 #24 Posted April 6, 2016 If it is a 701 then should be a Kohler..
