Hello all-

I have an opportunity to pick up a 1993 520 H with a 48 inch deck and the swept forward front end. The drawback is that the 20 hp Onen engine was partially taken apart and I was told it needs a coil, magneto pick up and I am not sure what other iginition related parts it needs. Does anyone have experience (dumb question) with this type of repair? I am a Kohler guy and never had an Onen. The dealer told me the magneto pick up and coil runs about $315 total. Does anyone know where I can get these used and or newer aftermarket ? Thanks- Steve

the onan uses a trigger / pickup ring setup under the flywheel. If you want I can give you a # of a mechanic who can give you the low down on them. The price sounds about right.
