If you need blades with a 5/8" x 3/4" double-D center hole you may be out of luck. We just discovered the normal suppliers are not reproducing them.

The later decks use a 3/4" round center hole and the blades are available.

There is a spacer/bushing to convert a 5/8" x 3/4" double-D blade to a 3/4" spindle but have no idea how that works. How do you slip a 5/8" wide hole over a 3/4" spindle?

Funny, the double D blade set for 42" is readily available but not for the 48".

All of mine are using the round bore later model blades.

I just went through this and had to change the spindles to 3/4 inch.

It is probly a 3/4" nut with a 5/8" reduced end , on the other end ,, so you screw it on spindle shaft tighten it then screw the blade on it.. Would be my guess..

I just ordered a set of 3 of the 3/4" round center Gator blades from Amazon.  Best price I could find.
