Solex 27 #1 Posted March 22, 2016 I currently own a C-81 and a 312 Wheel horse and I would like a tiller. One is for sale locally, a 36 inch 79271 that according to my research only fits a 266 series. If I am going to pay market price of $350, I don't really want to have to buy any more parts for this to fit. Can you tell me if this model is limited to the 266 series? Is the 36 inch tiller the same and I can modify it to fit a c-series or 300 series? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
JAinVA 4,638 #2 Posted March 22, 2016 (edited) Based on the manuals and pictures I have seen of this unit it seems to be the same unit that can be used with the 300-500 and C series.The parts that are different are the pieces that mount to the 260 series(not needed for your application).You will need the the rear axle hitch($60 or so) and mid mount belt tensioner.Wheel Horseman1000a vendor here has those.If the tines are in REAL good shape it may be worth looking at.Luck,JAinVA Edited March 22, 2016 by JAinVA Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
