clarewheelhorseguy 12 #1 Posted March 7, 2016 I am new to the d series. What attachments are available for the front PTO on a d200? Why doesn't the PTO shaft have a slot to lock in a typical PTO sleeve? I assume you remove the small cover directly in front if the shaft when needed. Thank you.
"D"- Man 827 #2 Posted March 7, 2016 Yes, you are correct the small front cover is secured by the 4 nuts on the 1/4" - 20 x 1/2" carriage bolts.

clarewheelhorseguy 12 #4 Posted March 7, 2016 Thanks for the reply. So what holds the PTO sleeve onto the shaft?

Like the rear end PTO the coupler (WH#102975) is held on the splined shaft with a roll pin. the couplers are a hard to find item. Some of the PTOs do not have splines on the front end they use a woodruff key to hold the pulley I cannot think of any attachments that use the front PTO .
