cafoose 3,456 #1 Posted March 3, 2016 (edited) My birthday is next week and I bought myself a new toy for $800 a 1988 520-HC. I downloaded all the manuals for it but I can't find the snow thrower operating manual. I have the parts manual for the snow thrower. I'm not sure how to attach the snow thrower either. 953 nut 60,098 #2 Posted March 3, 2016 You really know how to celebrate your birthday. The good news is that you should have about eight or nine months to figure out how the snow blower hooks up. I don't have a snow blower, but looking at your it appears that it would use the mid-mount atach-amatic where the mower is presently attached. Others who know will chime in soon. gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,492 #10 Posted March 3, 2016 Try this one. On page 14 it shows the frame that appears to mount in the mid hitch and a link to the tractor lift. There are 2 lift assist springs that hook into the front hitch. Garry

Garry That does show me more but I would also like to see a little more detail on how it actually attaches to the tractor like on the lift lever and both ends of the assist springs and things like that. Ed Kennell 42,051 #16 Posted March 3, 2016 I think you nailed it Brian, and I'm guessing the middle or top hole to get enough leverage to lift that monster blower that's hanging so far in front of the pivot point.
