Tankman 3,523 #20 Posted February 29, 2016 (edited) One Horse has had it's blade on since last year. With gravel drives. the blade'll stay on. Decks on a couple, since last year. Decks are greased, blades sharp, belts in great condition and sprayed with belt dressing. Hey, the robins are grazing the lawns! The grandsons, to their surprise, will be wax on, wax off this coming weekend! No free rides, wo...wo....WORK! Time to dethatch? Isn't that logical? More Stallions, one or two for any and every chore that might arise? Edited February 29, 2016 by Tankman

I had about 10.5 (one was a roller , hence the half) at one point last year. I've actually slowed down I know I've been a little inactive lately, but life got a bit busy, but hopefully I'll be around more now!
stevasaurus 23,281 #23 Posted February 29, 2016 Nice going you guys...you jinxed us. We, in Chicago land, are under a Winter Storm watch/warning starting tonight and going through tomorrow. Anywhere from 3" to 8" depending on how far north you are. I love the snow....but I hate the "wet snow" mixed with freezing rain. I think the horses will be tested tomorrow. March is coming in like a lion.
6wheeler 669 #24 Posted February 29, 2016 I thought we had some signs on last Saturday. Almost 60 here. We put up the portable green house . I cleaned up a bit around the yard . Ok, you got me. I actually went and organized my shed a little . Well? I needed a tractor to haul some of the branches. Is it my fault the D-250 was closest to the door ?. At least, that is what I told my wife. What my real plan was? To go down to the slab and get my disc. Which is what I did . Between playing with my toys and Grilling? I thought it was over. NOT. Today? Sunny, but cold. Snow went far north and east this morning. Later tonight, It goes south and east. We get very cold wind and no snow. But, I can see the frozen ground in the gardens. Tractor back in the shed. Plans had to change for now. Reality came knockin. Oh well. The tractor is serviced, the disc is greased. Greenhouse is up. Branches picked up. And, I had a great day to play. I'll be patient.
Ed Kennell 42,051 #25 Posted February 29, 2016 I don't have to change any plows, blowers, cabs, or decks with the season changes. I do have to move all the winter horses to their summer pasture, switch out the batteries, and bring home the mowers, tillers, sweepers and pullers.
