Disk

Can anyone ID the brand of this disk. I know my Dad bought it in 1972 but there are no marks on it. The disks are 11 inches in diameter and the hangers have a coat of red paint ( this coat is on the bare metal . Grease fittings on both hangers. Adjustable width.

I think Sears sold that one.  Not sure but Brinly may have made it.

I have the one pictured above and it is badged by wheel horse.     I have seen Identical ones painted white and badged a Brinley.  So my guess is Brinley made it and wheel horse rebadged it a wheel horse implement....or Brinley made it for WH.  (or something along those lines:)).

I don't think the ole man purchased from Sears. He hated Sears. All I know is one day went over to the house for a visit. He is riding a brand new 1972 Commando 800 and pulling the disk over garden he had just plowed. I think he slept in garage with 800 for about a week. He used it from 1972 until his death in 1991. I have had it under tarps since then.

IMG_0047.JPG.1239b7ee3cfbb6403a76d6df80fBrinly. They made them for Sears and many other's. I have a WH single bottom plow with a Brinly stamp on the share.

Thanks guys not having any badge and the original red paint on the hangers made me wonder. I think I clean off the rust and go from there.
