Very nice, its surprising that NOS still exists with all you guys finding it and buying it  quickly. Great haul.

My goodness!  Not only finds a generator, but NOS!  Then not only one but two!  Not only NOS but still in the boxes!  I've never even seen one, only pictures!

Since they are still new, I'm not sure if I would even use them.  Probably best I didn't find them since I wouldn't even know what to do.  Use them?  Or save them?  Use them?  Or just look at them...

OK, so I don't have a snowblower and don't have a generator, and I see guys talking about "Flags".

What exactly does it do?  Is that one in the photo?

Yes that's a flag pole. It slides in the rear of the lift pole and attaches to the lift arm mechanism.

So the Flag is just the connection between the lift mechanism and the rod that runs to the front?

Does it pin inside the lift pole or does it slide loose?

Trying to understand the physics?

Difficult to describe Red...maybe someone can chime in with a pic. Used mostly on snow blowers but in this case it lifts the jenny up on the front tachmatic bracket to put tension on the drive belt.

@1978c81

If you pull the mount out of the box, I would love to see a pic of it. I still haven't decided wow I am going to mount my HF generator head yet.

Actually, if you have a part number/model number, maybe there is a manual here

Actually it just lifts the genny and holds it in place. There's a knob underneath that tightens the belt much like the mower deck mule drive. The genny is mounted to a second plate that pivots up and down. Take a look at the manual and you'll see what I mean. :)
