Amcwheel85 2,059 #1 Posted February 7, 2016 Well I have been wanting another wheel horse to replace my RJ59 I sold a few months ago and finally was able to get this 1966 856. Runs good and everything works great. When I restore it I'm gonna need new back fenders tho.

Amcwheel85 2,059 #5 Posted February 7, 2016 Got it in the shed with the 310-8 and my kids tractors. I was happy the plow fit in the door!

Sparky-(Admin) 23,169 #9 Posted February 7, 2016 Looks good. I agree that the gold accents need to go....and maybe slap a decals on the sides of the hood and install a rain flapper on the stack and then run it! Mike.....

Amcwheel85 2,059 #16 Posted February 8, 2016 They are both beautiful machines tankman!! I've had 8 allis's and 6 simplicity's like that great machines as my old 68 2110 was my pulling machine. I just hated to have to pull the engine, these wheel horses are so much easier to work on!
Tankman 3,523 #17 Posted February 8, 2016 (edited) Just the one Allis-Chalmers in my barn. A few older Simplicities and of course, Stallions. My usual go to is my '90 520-8, found sitting lonely, cover blown off, outside a rural PA barn. Made a deal that no one would believe. The Horse now has new foot rest pads, chrome WH baby moons, muffler "bling", new 48" SD deck and mule drive. The Onan had been rebuilt but used little when I found it. Terry's (http://www.redoyourhorse.com/) decals are great. I ditched the TORO steering wheel cap and TORO air screen insert. Now Horse logo's of course. New donuts from Miller (not shown).
