sorekiwi 761 #2 Posted December 7, 2008 I'm not sure what style key you need Devin. Here's a link to some threads about the split style key for early '60's tractors: http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?...ic=4526&hl=keys http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?...opic=4603&st=0& Do the keys you have look like the ones in these threads? If the 1076 key works in the 857, couldnt you go to a locksmith and get it copied?

Brian1045 28 #8 Posted December 7, 2008 When I lost my last key, I went to the Toro dealer because I wanted to replace the switch as well. The new switch came with 2 keys just like the one that I lost, which was an original Wheel Horse/Toro key.

TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #11 Posted December 8, 2008 I guess I have to tell you to click the word "EBAY" in my previous reply. That is a link to keys listed on ebay, and it also has the Stens and MTD part numbers in the listing if you want to get them from somewhere else. (like your local small engine repair shop or dealer)
Eriks Red horse herd 120 #12 Posted December 8, 2008 The old split forked keys were usd by John Deere, Massey Ferguson, ect. I know John Deere used them on several years and models of combines. Theres a Tractor Restoration Parts company up here in michigan called STEINER out Lennon, MI. That has them(keys) in Stock they Run around $3.00 @ pcs. They also have the switch & key combo its a Massy Ferguson Switch not just on and off but has on, off, accs. Costs about $ 24.00 They also have a web site @ www.steinertractor.com . I've used both and are of good Quality the key is a perfect fit to the old OME keys. I hope this helps our members.
