red tom 1 #1 Posted February 2, 2016 Hey everyone, I've got a few questions for some wheel horse experts. I'm looking at a wheel horse that is supposedly a 520H XL. The guy said he bought it from his neighbor who bought it new. He says it has the original 22hp kohler motor and has power steering. He also said the major differences between a 520 and a 520 XL is that attachments mount differently and they got the 22hp kohler with power steering. I gave him a call and it doesn't sound like he is trying to BS me although he also said that he is unable to send me a pic. I'm asking you guys about it because not only am I not familiar with this "520 XL", I've never even heard of it until now. shallowwatersailor 3,214 #3 Posted February 2, 2016 (edited) Sounds like he has a 522xi with a 22 hp Kohler Command and that does have power steering. It is a completely different tractor, and the attachments are different from the standard Wheel Horse 520-H. It may also be a 417xt-series, which again is a completely different tractor. And yes, the attachments are different, though they mount basically the same way. Be sneaky and take pictures and post to the Forum so the 520 experts so you can get good advise. I have only seen 520 's in pictures so I can not help.
