can whlvr 991 #6 Posted January 30, 2016 that's a real nice original, ive only sen a few nut roasters up here in Ontario, wheelhorses are popular but not very many oldies,so this may be a stupid question but did the early rjs have reverse,or is it not working on that one only? The early RJ's did have reverse, there was a reverse dics on the engine pulley which engaged the veri-drive when the speed selector arm was pulled to the full rearward position... it makes a hellish sound... you'll use it once and never again.

fireman 1,021 #16 Posted January 31, 2016 It's always a great time when we get together. I guess Steve and I are lucky to only live about 10 minutes away from each other. The funny thing is that he and I played on the same Little League baseball team almost 35 years ago. I hadn't heard from or seen him since then until he joined RedSquare in 2008 and we lived in the same town all the while. I am usually over his house once a week (and even more when were working on his barn, truck, tractors etc). He's probably one of the only people from my childhood, besides family, that I still see or talk with. Plus he's usually my voice of reason when I get close to the edge of getting out the hobby and usually is able to reel me back in !!! If he didn't live close by, I probably would have sold the rest of my horses years ago and that would be the end of that.
