BPjunk 184 #7 Posted December 6, 2008 It looks like that 657 has done more sittin' then workin'! <_< It even has the 1813 tool pin in the hitch and the mower deck is haning on it straight. That 657 is the way I like to them ..... complete. Uh ..... but is that SNOW on the tires and seat? I have several 656's and a nice 655 but no 657. Can you post the Tecumseh model and serial number off the 657? Wild Bill in Richmond, Va.

djmil11 0 #9 Posted December 6, 2008 ok heres the story- the po received the tractor in the spring for doin some work for someone. he then had another person get it runnin for him. he said he ran it around the yard and it stopped workin, thought there was something wrong with the carb. so i got it home, shot some starting fluid in it, and it started but wouldnt stay runnin. so i looked under the gas tank and noticed the valve was closed. opened her up and she fired right up. im still haven a heck of a time starting it cold without the starting fluid though. once it is hot, its a 1 puller. im also looking for a starter for this if anyone has an extra. Bill- the model number is- HH60-105013A-- serial number is- 6145 05153 when i went to pick it up i asked who the "other guy" was. kinda figured it was you or perry. as for the snow- he left it out for awhile- it is now resting in the garge with the others :hide:
