meadowfield 2,692 #1 Posted January 27, 2016 There was a let up in the weather and the snow thawed and we had a good frost. Time to give C4 another airing and see what she could do. I'm amazed by the amount of traction achieved and didn't really manage to get stuck
AMC RULES 37,179 #2 Posted January 27, 2016 Hands down...my favorite of your builds Mark. Looks like the C-4 performs even better than Bendy.
Sparky-(Admin) 22,638 #3 Posted January 27, 2016 Great video! I could just putt around the woods near me all day on that machine and never get bored! Mike.....
can whlvr 994 #4 Posted January 27, 2016 really nice job on the c4,and it really does go through a lot,id be careful on the hill climbs, ive rolled one before and it really was dangerous with the lift handle there its ready to impale a guy,im sure your aware of this, maybe some front weight and that tractor could go up anything
DennisThornton 4,771 #5 Posted January 28, 2016 I expected it to perform well, and I have a New Holland 4x4 so I know what they can do, but man! That was something to watch! Every Wheel Horse owner should see this! Several times I was saying to myself where's the tractor that's going to pull it out of that ditch. Ok, it made that ditch but not going to get through this one! Very nice indeed! I just had to watch it again! Awesome!
WNYPCRepair 1,923 #6 Posted January 28, 2016 Impressive! I thought for sure you would rip a wheel off a couple of times in those creeks, but it didn't faze it. Barely even spun coming up out of the creek too.

I so want a go though

Two different beasts Craig, bendy has way more traction and control, but less articulation and is not as stable when traversing. C4 is lighter and more agile, the huge front axle articulation gives it the advantage. It does get stuck.... I just cleverly edit those bits out On 27 January 2016 at 10:03 PM, Sparky said: Great video! I could just putt around the woods near me all day on that machine and never get bored! Mike..... I so want a go though I've been part of Land Rover trials and quad biking most of my life. The last 10 have been playing with model rock crawlers, you might understand how C4 came around if you've seen the videos. im actually choosing the diagonal in a lot of cases just to push the articulation, you might not see it but it's handy being able to shift 200lbs onto the high side when needed
953 nut 58,945 #9 Posted January 29, 2016 Very entertaining, surprising that the wet tires gained traction on the rocks coming out of the creek. 1 hour ago, meadowfield said: you might not see it but it's handy being able to shift 200lbs onto the high side when needed I guess we all need to use a bit of "Body English" on uneven terrain.
