46" Snowblower

Recommended Posts

I don't have a snowblower on my garden tractors - this is what I use. 46" snowblower made from 3 different brands. The augers are from a 44" 2 stage Toro and I don't remember what the housing is from. I took this video to see what I could do to improve it. Looks like its pushing a lot of snow in the middle so I will have to address that first. I Think I'm going to make a new housing for it with small wings on the sides so I don't leave a trail next to it. The discharge chute needs some work too. Other than that it moves the snow good. I have a trail back to the back of the property that is about a half mile long and about 20 feet wide so this works better than the garden tractor would. I've got 4 wheel motors on the dingo so I don't have to worry about traction.

Wouldn't mind seeing a lot more about its creation and future!
