Suburban exhaust guard clips

Anybody got a good source for the clips that hold the exhaust guard on the 3/4in pipe? Bought a set a HD, didn’t hold worth a damn, bought another set at Ace, same thing. Originals fit pipe much better. If not anybody got any original ones for sale?

Chris, All the clips I have found usually have that problem. I usually bend them a little bit to make them fit the pipe better and they hold pretty good. But have to be careful because they can break easy when you pry on them to bend them.

AMC RULES

The only ones I've found that absolutely stay put...

are a little heavier guage, and have a nut and bolt running through the back of 'em.

wallfish

those look like 1/2" EMT (electrical conduit) stand off clamps

Get the 3/4 and you can put a bolt through the 2 holes and they won't go anywhere

They are John.

I found the 3/4" needs the bolt (PITA)to lock the shield in place, but with a slight tweak the 1/2's...you don't.

B- line makes those in a spring steel. Don't know if that would work or not just thought I would mention it.
