clueless 3,285 #1 Posted January 26, 2016 Anybody got a good source for the clips that hold the exhaust guard on the 3/4in pipe? Bought a set a HD, didn’t hold worth a damn, bought another set at Ace, same thing. Originals fit pipe much better. If not anybody got any original ones for sale? Jake Kuhn 1,579 #2 Posted January 26, 2016 Chris, All the clips I have found usually have that problem. I usually bend them a little bit to make them fit the pipe better and they hold pretty good. But have to be careful because they can break easy when you pry on them to bend them.

wallfish 18,298 #4 Posted January 26, 2016 Broom handle clips. These are from Ace but not sure why they wouldn't hold http://www.acehardware.com/product/index.jsp?productId=1291997
AMC RULES 37,220 #5 Posted January 27, 2016 The only ones I've found that absolutely stay put... are a little heavier guage, and have a nut and bolt running through the back of 'em.
wallfish 18,298 #6 Posted January 27, 2016 (edited) those look like 1/2" EMT (electrical conduit) stand off clamps Get the 3/4 and you can put a bolt through the 2 holes and they won't go anywhere Edited January 27, 2016 by wallfish
AMC RULES 37,220 #7 Posted January 27, 2016 (edited) They are John. I found the 3/4" needs the bolt (PITA)to lock the shield in place, but with a slight tweak the 1/2's...you don't. Edited January 27, 2016 by AMC RULES
JPWH 6,436 #8 Posted January 27, 2016 (edited) B- line makes those in a spring steel. Don't know if that would work or not just thought I would mention it. Edited January 27, 2016 by Hank01
