Pollack Pete 2,273 #1 Posted January 25, 2016 I picked up a non-running C-195 a few weeks ago. This week end I pushed it in the shop and I'm going to bring it back to life.Of course, this has a Kohler KT19 twin engine.I took all the engine tins off to de-crud the cylinder and head fins.Noticed on the rear cylinder,on the flywheel side of the engine,a small nipple sticking out.Looks like for maybe a 1/8 inch vacuum hose?? No vacuum gauge on this tractor.Anyone know what it's for? Should I plug it off while the flywheel cover is off for cleaning?Inquiring minds want to know. bobert94 38 #3 Posted January 25, 2016 No its not for a vacuum hose. its a roll pin used to set the ignition timing with a timing light there is also marks on the flywheel

bobert94 38 #6 Posted January 26, 2016 There is a access hole in the fan shroud pull out the snap in plug, hook up timing light shine through hole and line up flywheel marks with the roll pin. check the service manual for complete instructions
